cuirpoint started as a sticker. Then a magazine. Then a night, then a list of people we kept inviting back. The word cuir is a Latin American reclamation of queer — refusing both the English original and the colonial dictionary. The punto is the dot at the end of the sentence, and the start of the next.
the practice.
We publish on a slow cadence and gather on a fast one. The magazine arrives twice a year. The newsletter, weekly. The community runs in between — in cities and in chat threads, in San José and CDMX and Buenos Aires, and the diaspora that misses them.
